Pagani Huayra Roadster number 100 has been delivered to its Hong Kong owner in glorious unpainted carbon fiber. It’s the final Roadster to be made, just three years after the open-topped Huayra was launched in 2017.

To mark this milestone Pagani has released a short video on Facebook telling the buyer’s unique story, and it wasn’t quite love at first sight. Having checked out a Zonda C12 in a showroom, the customer was a little surprised to see components that bore more than a passing resemblance to Lamborghini. Later, when he saw a Zonda Cinque, he knew he had to have a Pagani in his stable.

After trying to get a Huayra coupe, he set his heart on the Roadster. “I knew I had to have that,” he says. He specified the car in bare carbon as “Horacio’s work with carbon fiber is second to none.” The Mamba Black weave looks absolutely stunning as you can see in the video. When it came to the interior the customer went for a bold contrast of yellow and black. Marking this final car out even further is a one-off carbon shark fin.

The buyer describes his journey to ownership of the final Roadster as “a quest.” It certainly looks to us like he’s found the Holy Grail of Huayras.
