2018 QUARTZ ERODED 1961 FERRARI GT
STEEL, FIBERGLASS, SELENITE, QUARTZ
Many of Daniel Arsham's automotive creations focus not just on icons of the car world but of cinematic history as well. It took more than a year for him to create this version of the 1961 Ferrari 250 GT California featured in the movie Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (1986). The base of this vehicle was created for the purpose by the same prop master who made the prop Ferraris used in the film. Arsham then individually cast 35 separate pieces of the car and reassembled them.
