1919 HARLEY-DAVIDSON MODEL 19 J
The Model J was originally produced for military service around 1915. After World War I, Harley-Davidson converted production for civilian customers, and the Model J became its top-of-the-line model. Its design, well-built and reliable, was produced with small yearly changes from 1912 to 1929. Production ended when the factory stated that the model was too expensive to produce. These machines were often stripped down for racing and were very successful in the hands of private owners. This restored example has optional electric lights, horn, and coil ignition.
