Whereas most electric vehicles are designed for street use, the 2020 Bollinger B1, a Class 3 truck that can weigh 14,000 pounds fully loaded, demonstrates that electric vehicles are also capable of heavy duty off-road hauling. Two electric motors, one at each axle, power the SUV for up to 10 hours of off-road driving. To maximize the truck’s utilitarian capabilities, the B1 has both front and rear tailgates, folding seats, and an interior that can be cleaned with a hose.
