1994 REYNARD 941
Ganassi partnered in the formation of Reynard North America in 1994. Michael Andretti, the 1991 CART champion, drove this car to claim Chip Ganassi Racing’s first race win, at Surfers Paradise in Australia. The victory upheld Reynard’s tradition of winning its debut in each new contest category. Reynard dominated the latter half of the 1990s, winning 65 of 89 CART races. Ganassi won four consecutive CART titles from 1996-99 using Reynards, with drivers Jimmy Vasser, Alex Zanardi, and Juan Pablo Montoya.
