In Glass Onion (2022), quirky tech billionaire Miles Bron (Edward Norton) keeps his Liquid Metal Chrome Blue Porsche 918 Spyder, which he calls “Baby Blue,” on a rotating platform in his glass-domed compound on a private Greek island. Automotive journalist Hannah Elliott found the 2013 supercar an unusual choice for the film, but ultimately the right one; the character of Bron could easily have chosen a brand-new, audacious hypercar, but the selection of the not-quite-current but not-yet-vintage hybrid Porsche reflects Bron’s eccentric, off-kilter personality.
