ENGINE: Turbocharged 5.4-liter flat-12
TOP SPEED: 233 mph (est.)
HORSEPOWER: 1,100 (est.)

The Porsche 917/30 driven by Mark Donohue would prove to be one of the most successful vehicles in the history of Can-Am racing. Introduced for the 1973 season as an improved version of the 917/10, the 917/30 featured a longer wheelbase and wider front track for increased stability. Donohue would drive this example, chassis 003, to six consecutive victories and win the overall 1973 championship, scoring the fastest lap time at every race. Competitor McLaren had won every Can-Am championship from 1967 to 1971, with Porsche taking the top spot the following two years.
