2010 KILLAJOULE
Eva Hakansson Racing
In 2014 Eva Håkansson became the fastest woman on a motorcycle on the fastest electric motorcycle in the world. Her two-way average speed at the Bonneville Salt Flats was 240.726 mph, which was 25 mph faster than the previous record and made KillaJoule the fastest “sidecar” streamliner of all time, regardless of engine type. KillaJoule is completely home-built on a limited budget by Eva and her husband, Bill, who consider themselves “backyard racers with high-level engineering skills.” Eva is currently campaigning her latest EV land speed racer, Green Envy, in which she plans to reach 400 mph.
